I’m a postdoctoral research fellow in the Laboratory for the Study of Upper Airway Dysfunction at Columbia University. My research is dedicated to improving quality of life and health outcomes in neurodegenerative disease through the rehabilitation of impairments in airway protection, namely cough (dystussia) and swallowing (dysphagia) dysfunction. I also have interests in meta-science, statistics, and how these practices affect the transparency, rigor, and replicability of science.
